University "Ukshin Hoti" based in Prizren, was founded by decision no. 01/87 of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo on 09.10.2009 as the second public university in the Republic of Kosovo which started with the first generation of students in the academic year 2009/10, respectively 01.10.2010.
