Review of the SMART4ALL webinar on 2nd KTE
On May 13th2021, #SMART4ALL successfully organized a webinar on CompetitiveProposal Preparation for the ongoing 2nd KTE Open Call, in order tooffer information, clarification, assistance and good practices topotential applicants looking for funding.
Theevent was attended by academics, researchers and SMEs from SEEcountries, involved in digital innovation activities. During thewebinar, which was moderated by Boris Antic, Assistant Professor ofthe Faculty of Technical Sciences Novi Sad (FTN), participants wereintroduced to the services and funding schemes of the SMART4ALLnetwork by Nikolaos Voros, Professor at the Department of Electricaland Computer Engineering – University of Peloponnese (UoP) andProject Manager of SMART4ALL, while they were assisted for theprocedure of preparing a proposal for a KTE, by Antonio Montalvo,Senior project manager at FundingBox, who explained all the detailsof the 2ndOpen Call on KTE and by Georgios Keramidas, Assistant Professor ofthe Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (UoP) and Technical Managerof SMART4ALL, who offered tips and advice on writing a cohesive,competitive proposal.
Ashort special session was devoted to 1stKTE winners who presented the results of their completed projects(Eptathlon and Future-MD), giving their insights on proposalpreparation and project execution. Pantelis Barouchas, AssistantProfessor at the University of Patras and Lejla Gurbeta Pokvic,Assistant Professor at the International BURCH University andtechnical manager at Verlab, presented the “success stories” ofEptathlon and Future-MD, respectively
Participantsmanifested notable interest in the partnership and fundingopportunities and the eligibility criteria of the 2ndKTE.
Thewebinar was launched one month before the 2ndKTE submission deadline.
