Webinar "Information technology & the job market" – February 4th, 2022
Esda Laboratory DIH and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) of the University of Peloponnese will launch an extremely interesting webinar on Friday 4th February at 11:00 a.m.. The webinar “Information technology & the job market” is absolutely adapted to all Informatics students needs and questions regarding their future steps, after finishing university studies.
The webinar speaker, Mr. Vangelis Katsikaros, has long-standing experience in web crawling, database management and backend systems, while, during the last 12 years, he has been working as Head of Infrastructure for the English company Adzuna, a job search engine used by tens of millions of visitors per month in 16 different countries. Utilizing updated data from job market, Mr. Katsikaros, is going to outline the predominant trends of the last 40 years, focusing on the informatics field and will give advice on students’ course from university to the first professional steps. There will be enough time for a Q&A session.
The Deputy Head of Esda Lab and assistant professor at the ECE Department, Mr. Christos Antonopoulos will moderate the webinar which will be hosted via webex.
