Welcome to the final edition of SMART4ALL newsletter, marking the conclusion of our H2020 project that aimed at reinventing collaboration for boosting technology and business development in South, Eastern and Central Europe. Over the past few years, we have worked diligently to maintain and expand an extensive network of DIHs and offer opportunities (funding, coaching, advertising, matchmaking) and services (through SMART4ALL Marketplace) to accelerate digital transformation and increase digital skills in the industry and academia.
Over the past year, a deliberate decision was taken to issue targeted newsletters for each of the project's verticals: Digitized Agriculture, Digitized Transport, Digitized Environment, Digitized Anything. In this project newsletter edition, we reflect on remarkable achievements and milestones that reveal the impact and legacy of SMART4ALL.

The second webinar addressed to (E)DIHs with the purpose of featuring a showcase around the Marketplace One-stop-shop platform, the opportunities and benefits that it offers to DIHs across Europe, was successfully held on March 21^st, 2024, with the participation of 32 attendees.

We are excited to share one more domain-oriented newsletter, devoted, this time, to Digitized Environment and the news and activities related to this application area of SMART4ALL project.
Having finalized our on-site activities in the typical duration of the project, with a successful event in Tirana (Albania) focusing on Digitized Environment & Digitized Agriculture success stories, we invite you to dive into the achievements of SMART4ALL beneficiaries and partners in a domain that requires highly secure and scalable infrastructure and a set of microservices that facilitate the development of the IoT solutions.

A successful special session on the application domains of Digitized Environment and Digitized Agriculture was held on 23^rd of February 2024 in Albania, as final SMART4ALL event. Organized by the Metropolitan University of Tirana (MTU), the session, that took place at the building of Piramida in Tirana, brought together representatives of the local ecosystem of technology of Albania with SMART4ALL beneficiaries from other SouthEast European countries, with vice-ministers, big companies, students and other stakeholders, involved and interested in the application of innovative technologies in the fields of agriculture and environment.

The SMART4ALL team continues offering opportunities of showcasing success stories to promote funded projects’ sustainability, while expanding its network including local stakeholders from the Balkans, that can be benefitted by the Marketplace services. With this purpose, the Metropolitan Tirana University (MTU) organizes a special session devoted on Digitized Environment and Digitized Agriculture application domains, on 23rd of February in Tirana (Albania), in the context of SMART4ALL activities that are addressed to academic and industrial entities as well as individuals (developers, entrepreneurs, university students, researchers, investors etc.), local agencies, chambers and other stakeholders.

At the end of the first month of 2024, we are happy to invite you to join us for a review of Digitized Transport news, activities and advancements! Following the Digitized Agriculture newsletter, we're getting back with one more vertical-oriented newsletter.
The innovation potential in digital transformation for all modes of transportation is enormous and SMART4ALL has offered funding, training opportunities and Marketplace services that leverage market penetration for startups, spin offs and spin outs.

Targeting at vertical-oriented networking with other projects and at showcasing beneficiaries’ achievements, SMART4ALL held a Digitized Transport Special Session, on December 14^th, 2023, at the premises of DLR, the German Aerospace Center . The session was collocated with the last General Assembly of the project partners.
