SMART4ALL Special Session on the 2nd Kotor International Maritime Conference (KIMC 2022)
On 29th of November 2022, SMART4ALL organized a Special Session in the context of the 2nd Kotor International Maritime Conference, that was held in Kotor (Montenegro) at the Historic Boutique Hotel Cattaro, attracting more than 150 participants in total.
Seizing the opportunity to promote SMART4ALL in front of stakeholders from the academic and industrial sector related to the fields of marine engineering, blue growth, marine automation, IT in shipping, maritime management & logistics etc., the program of SMART4ALL special session, which was attended by more than 30 persons, on-site and online, included:
- A keynote speech – presentation of “Embedded System Design & Applications Laboratory (ESDA LAB) DIH in Southeastern Europe” by professor Nikolaos Voros, Head of ESDA LAB (University of Peloponnese)
- SMART4ALL presentation by the project coordinator, professor Nikolaos Voros, (University of Peloponnese)
- Presentations of SMART4ALL success stories related to the maritime sector by 3 selected project beneficiaries: MARINARA 2nd KTE (presented by Dr. Aris Dermitzakis – AEON PC), ABMarSupply 3rd KTE (presented by Mrs. Ana Nives Radovic – B-Solutions) and Ship-mAInt 3rd KTE (presented by Mrs. Dušanka Bošković – Invar-Ivošević ltd.)
The conference was organized by the Faculty of Maritime Studies Kotor (University of Montenegro) and the conference chairman Špiro Ivošević, along with members of the organization committee kindly offered the opportunity for online attendance.
