OnSeptember 24th, 2021, in the context of the 6th South-East Europe DesignAutomation, Computer Engineering, Computer Networks and Social Media Conference(SEEDA-CECNSM 2021), a SMART4ALL Special Session will be hosted, as acomplement of the regular program with particular interest for the community.

A Joint workshop withDigital Innovation Hubs and other SAE Initiatives was held on 9th June 2021, asa milestone event of SMART4ALL project, growing above all expectations in termsof participation, speakers’ quality and impact.

Invited by theorganizers of the CMBEBIH InternationalConference on Medical and Biomedical Engineering, in Bosnia – Herzegovina, SMART4ALL participate in the Conference on April 23^rd, with aSpecial Session hosted online, topresent SMART4ALL project and its funding opportunities to Bosnian companiesand institutions and other conference participants.

Focused Technology Transfer Experiments(FTTE) are novel short-term (9months) experiments that target the formation of cross-bordersynergies aiming to accelerate product orient projects towardssuccessful commercialization.

An extension of the submission deadline for the 2^nd KTEproposals has been decided, till the 15^th of July (12:00CEST)!

On June 17th 2021, SMARTALL project partner Dr. Santiago Macho Gonzalez,R&D Project Manager at Sensing and Control Systems S.L. (S&C), willrepresent SMART4ALL in the Tech4SmartCities event organized by the EnterpriseEurope Network, which among others, includes webinars that will look intoopportunities and challenges that cities are facing in their transition tobecome climate-neutral, sustainable and smart ecosystems.  

Only one day is left for registering to the 1^st SMART4ALL Joint workshop with other DIH and SAE Initiatives, which will be held online, in the context of MECO’ 2021.

The SMART4ALL held an online meeting welcoming the 1st CTTE Open Call winners on May 31st, 2021. The Head of Mentoring Committee and moderator of the event, Marcelo Brandalero, the Technical Project Officer, Christos Antonopoulos, and the SMART4ALL Ethics Manager, Dimitris Tourlidas, presented the organizational structure of the project, emphasizing on the key responsibilities of consortia during the funding period and the phases and deliverables till the experiments’ execution, as well as the ethical guidelines to which all projects should comply with.

SMART4ALL project will organize the 1st Joint Workshop with other DIHs and SAE Initiatives on MECO'2021 Conference during which it will bring together the latest achievements from one of the world's leading IT companies and representatives from European Commission, SAE Initiative and and several active H2020 projects.
On Wednesday 9^th June, during the online event, European DIHs and EDIHs candidates will present their activities in shaping Europe's digital future and SMART4ALL funded experiments from the first round of calls will present their winning proposals and market ready IoT solutions.
This Special Session will be wrapped up with presentations of selected research papers from project partners.
